Description
I have a new issue in the ongoing development of the Dell 9720 w/ Alder Lake PCH-P audio (#5795 #5780 etc). This time, detection looks all good, and sound input works fine. And the sound settings in GNOME even show sound output on the little meter there, but no actual sound comes out. This is with the built-in speakers, the headphone jack, and HDMI outputs.
Audacity also gets no sound via the default or the direct:
Here's my test sound file:

Upgrading to Linux 7.2.9+deb13-amd64 has improved things, but hasn't fixed everything. The speakers and HDMI output now work, but headphone output still does not. The headset plug detection looks like it is working fine.

Just upgraded to 7.2.11 and that introduce a regression. It is now back to the original state as described at the top.
