With TypeScript 7 installed, yarn lint fails because typescript-eslint calls the absent ts.createSourceFile API. The package root exports version metadata instead of the compiler API that the configured parser requires.

The TypeScript 7 package root exports only version metadata. The configured typescript-eslint parser imports that root and calls compiler APIs such as ts.createSourceFile, so the mandatory lint stage in build-and-test cannot parse source files. Storybook's docgen integration also depends on compiler APIs from the same root, so it cannot produce TypeScript prop documentation.

Example: After installing the locked dependencies, run yarn lint on an ordinary .ts source file. The parser calls ts.createSourceFile, but the root TypeScript import has no such function; lint terminates before checking the file.

Recommended fix: Keep a compatible TypeScript compiler API available to typescript-eslint and Storybook, or upgrade both integrations to versions that support TypeScript 7's new API. Run yarn lint and yarn build with a clean install.
