The home page ("Pricing that scales with you"), /pricing ("See how Prisma compares at scale" and "Compare plans") and /lp/providers compare Prisma with Neon + Vercel and list plan limits. Several of those figures and rows had no source or disagreed with the docs.

Changes

  • /pricing, /lp/providers: Neon + Vercel at ~50K MAU is now $110-270 a month, not $385-450. The old figure had no written basis, and a recompute from list prices on the same basis as the Supabase and Prisma columns gives $111-268 (method in the pricing-comparison.tsx comment).
  • /pricing, /lp/providers: the sentence says Prisma Pro "can cost less than half as much as" Neon + Vercel, instead of "up to 5x less". The marker is still derived from the figures and now renders "Up to 2x less vs Neon + Vercel" ($190 vs $81 at the midpoints).
  • Home, Growing SaaS (~50K MAU): $110-270 vs $72-90. Prisma was $70-90 on home and $72-90 on /pricing; both now show $72-90.
  • Home, Side project (~5K MAU): $20-35 vs $0-22, instead of $19-39 vs $0. Vercel Hobby is for personal, non-commercial use, so a commercial app needs Vercel Pro ($20); Prisma is $0 inside the Free limits, otherwise Starter. "Credit card required up front" is now "Paid Vercel plan for commercial use", since Neon Free needs no card. The data transfer line names Neon Free's 5 GB.
  • Home: the At scale (~500K MAU) card is removed. Its $2,800-3,400 had no written basis and is above every list-price recompute.
  • Home and /pricing, Neon + Vercel spend limits: "Not standard" is now "Neon: spending notifications at 80% and 100%. Vercel: a spend budget with an optional pause" (the wording /lp/providers already uses).
  • /pricing, Compare plans, Managed connection pool: the "Auto-scaling: Included" row is replaced by "Pool mode: Transaction". The pool has fixed per-plan limits and does not grow on its own; the docs advise capping concurrency or upgrading the plan when the limit is hit.
  • /pricing, Compare plans: "Operation duration (db queries)" now reads "10 min pooled, unlimited direct" on every plan, instead of "Unlimited".
  • /pricing, Compare plans: Free's Spend limits cell reads "Fixed at $0, no card required" instead of a dash, which matches "Every plan includes: Spend limits".
  • The Markdown versions of / and /pricing carry the same changes. A new test (pricing-claims.test.tsx) pins the figures, the derived marker and the new rows in both the HTML data and the Markdown.

Comment @coderabbitai help to get the list of available commands.

The CDN line is $0-20 rather than a flat $20: docs/pricing/flat-rate-cdn
says Pro includes the 1M-request tier and 10M requests is the $20 tier,
while vercel.com/pricing has also shown 10M requests as included on Pro.
The low end now covers the $0 case. The method comment also gives the
function-usage quantities behind the $17-39. The marker stays "Up to 2x
less" ($190 / $81) and "less than half as much" still holds.

CountUp's effect decision moves into countUpStep() and is tested: inactive
figures (hidden carousel slides and a slide sliding out) show the real price,
an active figure off screen resets and counts up as it comes into view, and a
slide picked again before it left view keeps its value instead of flashing to
zero. The doc comment now states that replay needs the figure to have been out
of view.

The SSR price test now expects the current scenario and comparison prices
from #8565.

* site(home, pricing): server-render real prices instead of "$0-0"

The price counter on the home page scenario cards and the /pricing
comparison cards started at zero on the server and only counted up in the
browser, so the HTML served to crawlers and no-JS readers showed "$0-0"
(home, Growing SaaS) and "$0-0" with an en dash (all three
/pricing cards).

CountUp now renders the final value on the server and on the first client
render. After hydration it resets a figure to zero only while it is off
screen, counts up when it scrolls in or its carousel tab is picked, leaves a
figure that is already visible alone, and never animates with
prefers-reduced-motion. This also removes a hydration text mismatch on
/pricing for readers with reduced motion.

Adds a renderToStaticMarkup test for CountUp, PricingScale and
PricingComparison.
