fix(release): bring fleet-dashboard onto the release line (#409) - #465
Problem
The grid-fleet-dashboard chart was left out of the release line. It still had appVersion: v0.1.4 and an empty image.tag, so a default install tried to pull [ghcr.io/praxis-proxy/grid-fleet-dashboard:v0.1.4](http://ghcr.io/praxis-proxy/grid-fleet-dashboard:v0.1.4%60), a tag that was never published. Release CI also skipped this chart, so it was never packaged or pushed.
Changes
Chart.yaml: set version / appVersion to 0.3.0-rc.1 / v0.3.0-rc.1, in line with the other charts, and point sources at crates/fleet-dashboard. release.yaml: add a CHART_DIRS list used by the version check, packaging and push steps, so the dashboard chart is released with the others. Also add helm lint and the template test for the dashboard chart, and add the dashboard image digest and install line to the release notes. hack/helm-template-test.sh: check that the chart version matches the workspace version in Cargo.toml, and that the default image, an image.tag override and a repository-plus-tag override all render correctly.
Add an image-tag-override values file and golden file, and regenerate the existing golden files (with Helm v3.17.3, the version CI pins). fleet-dashboard.yaml: pin Helm v3.17.3 in the chart job so the golden files render the same way locally and in CI.
Docs: update README.md, the values.yaml comment and docs/release.md (six charts instead of five, plus a checklist step).
Testing
crates/fleet-dashboard/hack/helm-template-test.sh passes under Helm v3.17.3 (all four golden comparisons, the version check and the image checks). helm lint --strict passes. actionlint is clean on release.yaml and fleet-dashboard.yaml.
Verified that the default image tag v0.3.0-rc.1 exists on ghcr.

The chart and app versions change to 0.3.0-rc.1. Golden manifests reflect the updated version labels, image tags, and configuration checksums. The image-tag fixture and documentation describe the default and override values.
Chart validation and CI crates/fleet-dashboard/hack/helm-template-test.sh, .github/workflows/fleet-dashboard.yaml, .github/workflows/release.yaml
The template test checks chart and workspace version alignment, plus default and overridden image references. CI installs Helm v3.17.3; the release chart job runs lint and template checks.
Release publication and documentation .github/workflows/release.yaml, docs/release.md
The release workflow includes the dashboard image digest in release outputs and adds the dashboard chart to version checks, packaging, and pushing. Release guidance covers the six-chart set and dashboard chart checks.

The release workflow now publishes the dashboard chart and image together, but a container build failure could still leave a published chart whose default image is missing. The README also still says the chart is not published. Neither blocks the change, and both are bounded and easy to fix.

Explanation
Issue #409 requires either release-line integration or removal of release-tag image publishing. The PR implements release-line integration. Chart.yaml sets version: 0.3.0-rc.1 and appVersion: v0.3.0-rc.1. The release workflow includes crates/fleet-dashboard/charts/grid-fleet-dashboard in chart processing and builds the dashboard image at the release tag. The template test checks the chart version, appVersion, default image, and image overrides. These changes address the unpublished default image tag problem.

Publish the dashboard chart only after its image succeeds.
On a fresh release tag, the chart job can push grid-fleet-dashboard before the container job publishes its default image tag. If the container job fails, the published chart retains an image reference that new installations cannot pull. The chart job needs only validate and test; make publication depend on a successful container job. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
