Feature description

Python 3.15.0 was released on 2026-10-09. Both the python and uv ecosystems fail with tool_version_not_supported for any project declaring requires-python = ">=3.15".

PRE_INSTALLED_PYTHON_VERSIONS_RAW in python/lib/dependabot/python/language.rb stops at 3.14.7, which matches the error below:

Error during file fetching; aborting: Dependabot detected the following Python requirement for your project: '>=3.15'.

Currently, the following Python versions are supported in Dependabot: 3.10., 3.11., 3.12., 3.13., 3.14.*.

Same situation as #13274, which #13321 resolved. Supporting it takes both ecosystems: uv/Dockerfile builds its own interpreters and needs its own 3.15 entry, while the uv package manager picks the shared version list up from Python::LANGUAGE.

Draft PR up: #16525, which adds 3.15.0 to PRE_INSTALLED_PYTHON_VERSIONS_RAW and builds it in the python and uv images.

It cannot merge yet. docker.io/library/python:3.15.0-bookworm is not published, and docker-library/python#1134 is still open. I will take this out of draft once the tag exists.
