Passive Defense
On Minecraft 1.20.1 and newer, the blocks of Open Modular Passive Defense (OMPD) are part of Open Modular Turrets. On 1.12.2 they come from the separate mod Open Modular Passive Defense. All of them have an owner (see Ownership and Trusted Players) and show it in Jade.
Each comes in tiers 1–5.
| Tier | Hardness | Explosion resistance | Fence damage |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 10 | 10 | 5 |
| 2 | 20 | 20 | 6 |
| 3 | 30 | 30 | 7 |
| 4 | 50 | 50 | 8 |
| 5 | 80 | 80 | 9 |
For comparison: stone has hardness 1.5 and explosion resistance 6, obsidian 50 and 1200. They need at least an iron pickaxe.

Hardened Block: a tough building block. It can also be used as a Camouflage disguise. |

Hardened Wall: a wall version of the hardened block. |

Fence: a razor fence (like iron bars) that hurts everything touching it except its owner, up to two hits per second. |
The pictures show tiers 1 to 5 from left to right.
Sneak + right-click with an empty hand picks a block up if you own it (or nobody does).
All values can be changed in the passiveDefense section of the Configuration without a restart.
The camouflage trap looks like any block you choose, but only its owner and trusted players can stand on it; everyone else falls through.
- Right-click it as an admin to open the camouflage menu: disguise slot, light value and light opacity sliders, and the Trusted button for its trust list (levels trusted and admin).
- It mines like the block it is disguised as.
- Its settings can be copied with the Memory Card.
