In a text string (actionbar, tell, title, Book text, advancement titles), ${...} completion only listed Globals and objectives. That meant:
${mod| missed a const list such as modes, and also locals and Storage.
${modes[spellbook_state.|]} and ${modes[spellbook|]} showed "No suggestions". The replace range covered spellbook_state., so no field label could match.
A ${...} in a raw command had a related problem: after a . it listed top-level names instead of the Storage record's fields.
There were also two Blueprint misses:
An empty line, or a first word, in a Blueprint's emit { } block showed "No suggestions".
Blueprint throttle(label: |) offered no types.
Change
Text markup and commands now share one helper, exprCompletion in engine/ide/code.go:
After a .: it lists the fields of the Storage record before the dot. This also works through an index or call, as in modes[game.|].
In function code: it lists the same names code can use (codeValues): locals, parameters, Globals, Storage, objectives, consts and functions.
Where text is shown without running code (books, advancement text): the same list without functions.
Markup context detection now looks past the ) of a call inside ${...}, so ${len(modes) - |} completes. Elsewhere, a ) still ends the context.
Hover inside a markup ${...} now describes the name under the cursor (a const, Storage, Storage field or Global) instead of the whole expression. Before, ${modes[st.mode]} only gave the generic "filled in when…" text.
A statement in an emit block, or in an if or for inside one, now completes with:
the declaration kinds,
the project's Blueprints,
primary, const, if and for.
Template, Type and Blueprint are left out, because they are file-level only.
A half-typed Objective o: | in emit now lists criteria. Before, it listed types, because it parses as a field until the criterion is there.
A Blueprint's parameters and result type now count as type positions, the same as a Template's.
Web and VS Code both get completions from the same LSP server, so they behave the same.
Tests
TestCompletionMatrix has new rows for markup and command interpolation: a prefix, a const, inside index brackets, a Storage field after a dot (including inside a CustomItem run hook), after a call, outside code, and after a closed ${}. The new rows fail on main.
TestMarkupExprHover covers hover on each part of ${modes[st.mode]}.
TestBookCompletion checks that a book's ${ does not offer functions.
TestTemplateCompletion covers:
emit statements: an empty line, a typed prefix, inside if, and an Objective criterion;
a Function body inside emit, which still gets code completion;
In text markup (tell, actionbar, title, Book and other text strings), a
${...} only offered Globals and objectives, so `${mod|` missed a const list
such as `modes`, and `${modes[state.|]}` offered nothing. A ${...} in a raw
command listed top-level names after a `.` instead of the Storage fields.
Both now share exprCompletion: after a `.`, the fields of the Storage
record before it (through indexes, `modes[game.|]`); otherwise what code
can name there (locals, parameters, Globals, Storage, objectives, consts)
in function code, and the same less functions where text is shown
without running code. Markup context also looks past the `)` of a call
inside ${...} (`${len(modes) - |}`).
Hover inside ${...} in markup now describes the name under the cursor
(a const, a Storage, a Storage field or a Global) rather than the whole
expression, so `${modes[game.mode]}` hovers each part.

Markup expression completion now uses shared expression-completion logic, including storage-field candidates. Markup hover resolves names at the cursor and can fall back to expression evaluation. Context detection now handles matched parentheses within expressions.

Summary
Markup expression context and completion entry engine/ide/book.go, engine/ide/book_test.go
Markup context scanning handles matched parentheses. Book-text expression completion delegates to shared completion logic. A regression test checks that start is not offered.
Expression completion candidates and coverage engine/ide/code.go, engine/ide/ide.go, engine/ide/complete_matrix_test.go
Interpolation completion handles storage fields, project names by namespace, replacement spans, and candidate deprecation metadata. Tests cover command and text markup expressions.
Markup hover resolves the name chain at the cursor, supports storage names, and falls back to expression evaluation. Tests cover hover over names in markup expressions.
Books outside the default namespace may show missing or incorrect Storage-field completions. The impact is limited to editor suggestions, so the change is mergeable with owner awareness.

Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title lists three topics: ${...} interpolation completion, emit blocks, and Blueprint parameter types. The raw summary and PR objectives cover only ${...} completion and hover in engine/ide (book.go, code.go, ide.go, and tests). They do not mention emit blocks or Blueprint parameter types. The title is therefore partially related: it names a real part of the change, but it also names aspects that the changeset does not show.
Resolution
Retitle the PR to describe the actual change, for example: "Complete names, consts and Storage fields inside ${...}". Remove the emit block and Blueprint parameter type references unless the changeset includes those changes, in which case the file summaries must cover them.

Add a book Storage-field completion case.
TestBookCompletion does not cover ${st.|}. Add a Storage declaration to the fixture and assert that the book completion returns its fields.

Unverified finding
Verification ran but could not confirm this finding. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Guard a.decl before reading a.decl.NS.
Line 612 checks a.decl != nil, so the code treats a.decl as possibly nil. Line 606 reads a.decl.NS without that guard. The callers are gated by a.code(), and codeRoot returns nil when a.decl is nil. A nil dereference is therefore not reachable today.
The other new callers in exprCompletion fall back to s.P.Config.Namespace when a.decl is nil. Use the same fallback here to keep the contract consistent.

An empty line (or the first word) in a Blueprint's emit block offered
nothing; it now lists the declaration kinds, the project's Blueprints and
the emit keywords (primary, const, if, for), also inside an if or for
there. A half-typed `Objective o: |` in emit lists criteria rather than
types, since it reads as a field until the criterion is there.
`Blueprint b(label: |)` offered nothing either: a Blueprint's parameters
and result type now count as type positions, like a Template's.
