While I use an extended integration to add customisations, the base integration provides contacts, leads, incidents, organisations. For Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environments with custom entities, it would be great to have an event/hook to implement the ability to provide additional entities and mapping for these entities, so they can be used in the integration settings of a form.
What's your proposed solution?
An event to include more than just the default entities available would need some handling for the additional lightswitch fields for creating the option in the integration settings and to query the custom entity and pull the schema to provide the mapping information. There are additional events for lookup/relational fields to help with customising this.
Additional context
Dynamics 365 CRM tends to be heavily customised per organisation/environment, so being able to implement custom entities into the main integration would be ideal.
While extending the integration allows for doing pretty much whatever, I've always tried to commit back anything that makes logical scene to be usable by other users of Dynamics 365, without pushing too much business-specific logic into the main integration class.
