I'm a machine learning engineer based in the south of France with two lines of work. One is LLM research: pretraining, ablations, and figuring out what actually makes these models tick. The other is geometric deep learning for CAD and CAE, teaching neural networks to understand 3D geometry so that engineers get answers in milliseconds instead of waiting on a simulation. I'm happiest somewhere between the two: reading a paper in the morning, breaking it by the afternoon, and shipping whatever survived.
I came to ML from software engineering, so I care a lot about models that hold up outside the notebook and about research done honestly, with real baselines and enough seeds to trust the result.
Outside of work I'm part of the Global Shapers community in Nice, I write about AI and engineering on LinkedIn, and I once built a VS Code extension that plays a sound every time your code fails. It is deeply unhelpful and I regret nothing.
Open to ML and LLM engineer roles in France and across Europe. Say hi!
