SimpleFS is a compact file system that builds and modifies a binary disk image from scratch. It implements the core structures found in real Unix-style file systems: a superblock, inode and data bitmaps, a 128-byte inode table, a root directory, and first-fit block allocation, all packed into a 256 KiB image made of 64 blocks of 4096 bytes.
