Infer pageBreakMarkers #19

Open

Description

@HadrienGardeur

With the work planned on HTML parsing in readium/go-toolkit#180, we should also be in a position to infer the presence of page break markers.

These page break markers can either use:

The pageBreakMarkers value for accessibilityFeature doesn't require completeness, which means that the mere presence of one of these markers is sufficient to trigger the inference.

    Now that we can extract a Guided Navigation Document from the HTML resources of an EPUB, we can look for the pagebreak role as documented in https://github.com/readium/guided-navigation/blob/main/roles.md

    This inference will therefore live behind the flag for inspecting HTML resources.

    This will only be inferred when combining:

    • --inspect-html
    • with --infer-a11y set to split or merged
