Updating lessons affected by Chronicling America's site renewal #3616

Various lessons are likely to be affected by Chronicling America's site renewal.

They note: "On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Library of Congress will launch its new online catalog platform. For general information, visit the Catalog Welcome Page. On loc.gov, temporary record indexing delays may be experienced leading up to and following this migration, which will impact updates to data available through the loc.gov JSON/YAML API, sitemaps, and various microservices. There may also be data sync delays that persist longer term, between the data from these services and data from the catalog."

1. Fetching and Parsing Data from the Web with OpenRefine

The main issue I can see for now is that URLs used in the code for Example 2 starting https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/ now start https://www.loc.gov/collections/chronicling-america/.

2. Creating Web APIs with Python and Flask

Very similar issues.

3. Creating a Dashboard for Interactive Data Visualization with Dash in Python

4. Computer Vision for the Humanities: An Introduction to Deep Learning for Image Classification (Part 1)

This lesson references the project, but should not be affected as the links are likely to resolve automatically.
