Show Answer Box not opening correctly (MathJax issue) #3176
Description
Using WebWork 2.20, I am unable to see the correct answer when clicking the "Show Correct Answer" button. Seems like an issue with MathJax integrating correctly with system. Instead I get a small blue rectangle next to solution blank.
Also, the "waffle" icon for mathviewer is not showing up next to the answer space even though that option has been chosen in the course configuration.

I just tested this, and I do not see the issue.
Check that your javascript and css is all up to date and assets properly generated. Run
npm cifrom both the/opt/webwork/webwork2/htdocsand/opt/webwork/pg/htdocsdirectories.drgrice1 commentedon Aug 28, 2026
You should also note that since WeBWorK 2.21 has been released, we no longer can backport fixes for anything to WeBWorK 2.20.
