Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.

Currently Modrinth already collapses patch versions, so 26.1.0–26.1.2 are shown as 26.1.x. But minor versions are still listed separately, so a mod that supports every 26.x version can still show up as:

26.3 26.2 26.1.x

With Mojang’s new versioning policy, the number of minor versions may increase quickly. This kind of supported-version list will only get longer quickly as well.

I suggest adding a higher-level collapse: if a project supports every tracked version in a major family like 26.x, display it simply as:

26.x

instead of 26.3 26.2 26.1.x

If support is incomplete, keep the explicit list, for example:

26.3 26.1.x

Thanks for considering it!
