Summary

  • Add the mlnx-nfsrdma kernel subpackage from the pinned MLNX OFED source bundle for x86_64 and aarch64 base kernels.
  • Integrate source extraction, compilation, installation, and packaging through the existing phased kernel-module include mechanism, with matching kernel and OFED module dependencies.
  • Pass the target kernel release explicitly during installation and add depmod overrides for rpcrdma, xprtrdma, and svcrdma so the new package takes precedence over OFED dummy modules.
  • Refresh initramfs state during installation and removal, provide compatibility package aliases, and bump the kernel package release to 1.3.
  • Refresh the component lock and rendered build inputs.

Build the mlnx-nfsrdma subpackage from the NFS/RDMA sources in the
pinned MLNX OFED bundle for x86_64 and aarch64 base kernels.

Integrate source extraction, compilation, installation, and packaging
through the existing phased kernel-module include mechanism. Build
against the matching kernel tree and OFED headers and symbol versions,
and require the corresponding kernel-core and OFED module packages.

Install modules under extra/mlnx-nfsrdma and run depmod after package
installation and removal. Provide compatibility aliases for the
kmod-mlnx-nfsrdma and mlnx-nfsrdma-modules package names.

Bump the kernel package release to 1.3 and refresh the component lock
and rendered build inputs.

🟡 Changes recommended

The missing install-only provide causes DNF updates to replace the previous RPM and remove NFS/RDMA modules still needed by retained kernels.
