Apple silicon releases think it's universal and require rosetta upon installation #85
Maybe this is part of the munki-pkg logic itself, but when trying to install the current pre-releases, a popup occurs asking to install Rosetta on Apple Silicon macs.
The python.app shows support for Intel and Apple Silicon macs, which is likely because we consume the python.app, even though we do not install universally compatible python3 libraries.
The distribution file at the root of the build folder that may be getting used by munki-pkg when building should be including hostArchitectures="x86_64,arm64", but instead appears to only have the <options customize="never" require-scripts="false"/>
The clearest indication something is up when Inspecting the 3.14.5.80791 version in Suspicious Package is the "Executable items have mixed support for Apple Silicon and Intel • Rosetta 2 required at install time" section.
If you click on that section of the GUI it shows that the intel64 flavor is in the payload, as per the breadcrumbs on the bottom of Processor Support screen
