Perhaps, JBang-Jython usage could also be added as a subsection to "Getting Started" in index.md.

### JBang support for running Jython (September 2026)

Until very recently, Jython releases had to be downloaded and installed locally before they could be used. A JBang wrapper for Jython is now available that allows Jython scripts to be executed without first installing Jython.

Suggest your first mention of JBang could usefully be a link to the JBang site, since there is an installation step before what you show us will work.

This syntax produces a bullet list I think. You probably mean this as quoted code. For examples look to https://github.com/jython/jython.github.io/blob/master/installation.md .

Sure, let's get it better known. ... I was going to merge, but I see it's draft. So I added a couple of suggestions.

I'm waiting for the next JBang release (currently in early access), which adds built-in support for alias versioning. Once it's out, I'll update the docs and the JythonCli script to align with the new functionality.
