This is a web application that allows users to calculate the time value of money (TVM), a fundamental concept in financial mathematics. The concept states that money available today is worth more than the same amount in the future. TVM is based on the idea that money can earn interest or be invested over time, and thus has a potential future value. This application allows users to perform complex financial calculations such as how to calculate the present value or future value with ease. You can visit the website here
This project is built with Vite and uses the following technologies:
- HTML for the structure and content of the website
- SCSS for the styling and layout of the website
- TypeScript for the logic and functionality of the website
- Lets users enter the parameters of a TVM problem, such as the present value, future value, interest rate, number of periods, and payment amount.
- The application then uses formulas to calculate the missing value and display the result to the user.
- The application also shows the full meaning of the formulas and the steps involved in the calculation.
