I'm testing out running a few models and creating an interpret dashboard. Currently, my code runs with no error messages, and if I run to show a singular model e.g. show(ebm_global) that runs and shows interpretations for all the features with no problems. However, if I try to run with multiple models, e.g. e.g. show([ebm_global, lr_global]) the dasboard loads but has no data inside to navigate between.
For example, my code looks like:
from interpret.glassbox import ExplainableBoostingRegressor
from interpret.glassbox import LinearRegression
from interpret import set_visualize_provider
from interpret.provider import InlineProvider
set_visualize_provider(InlineProvider())
from interpret.provider import DashProvider
set_visualize_provider(DashProvider.from_address(('127.0.0.1', 7001)))
from interpret.blackbox import ShapKernel
from interpret import show
import shap
ebm = ExplainableBoostingRegressor(random_state=seed)
ebm.fit(X_train, Y_train)
lr = LinearRegression(random_state=seed)
lr.fit(X_train, Y_train)
ebm_global = ebm.explain_global()
lr_global = lr.explain_global()
show([ebm_global,lr_global])
Am I missing something to get data to display in the dashboard? Thank you for any guidance and also for creating this package!
For reference I am running this in anaconda in juypter lab version 3.0.14
Hi @hlnicholls -- I believe the multiple model dashboard is not implemented for the InlineProvider and from my discussions with the developers who made it, I believe it would be difficult to do so. At the very least we should be providing a better error message though, so I'll put it in our backlog as a bug to fix.
