HACS is moving to Home Assistant as Marketplace #5590
HACS is becoming part of Home Assistant. Starting with the Home Assistant 2026.11 release in November, it ships built-in as the Marketplace integration.
Development now happens in Home Assistant itself, so this repository is no longer the place for new work.
What this means for open issues and pull requests
If you were linked to this issue from an issue or pull request, it's because that work won't continue here. This isn't a judgement on the request itself. Many of these ideas are still welcome. They just need to be raised in the new place.
Feature requests and ideas: Open or join a discussion in the Marketplace category of the Home Assistant discussions.
Bug reports: Once you're running Home Assistant 2026.11 or later, check the open Marketplace issues in the Home Assistant core repository, and open a new one there if your problem isn't already reported.
Code contributions: Read the contributor documentation before opening a pull request in the Home Assistant repositories.
Before opening something new, search the existing discussions and issues to see if someone has already raised it.
Submitting repositories
Nothing changes here. To get your repository included, keep submitting it to hacs/default as before.
