controle temperature sinope th6500wf #937

Open

Description

@PhilAllmighty

Je n'ai rien vu concernant mon problème actuel.

par l'application hilo, j'arrive à contrôler le thermostat sans problème, mais pas avec homeassistant. voici le debug lorsque je veux changer la température

WARNING (MainThread) [pyhilo] [Sinope24V TH6500WF (1453573)] Invalid attribute DeviceAttribute(hilo_attribute='TargetTemperature', hilo_value_type='Celsius', attr='target_temperature', value_type='°C') for device

est-ce que c'est un bug ou c'est à moi de trouver comment faire la translation entre C et Celsius?

Merci à l'avance pour votre aide!

    C'est probablement le format du data que ton thermostat aime pas. Un central comme ça faut lui envoyer les 2 températures (heat cool) en même temps via un batch attribute. Le cas doit juste pas être géré actuellement.

    Je vais voir si je peux mettre la main sur ça pour essayer, pas de promesses

    Salut, sens-toi bien à l'aise mais si t'es game de fournir tes credentials pour Hilo en privé sur discord ça m'aiderait, je n'ai rien en main pour ce type de device là (low voltage wifi) donc je peux écrire du code mais pas le débugger.

    Sinon pas ben grave je trouverai moyen

    Tu as bien choisi c ou lieu de F dans ton setup de HA

    Salut Jean, il y a ça mais les thermostats 24V centraux ont une particularité, comme ils peuvent faire chauffage climatisation, faut envoyer les 2 commandes en même temps, même si l'une ou l'autre ne sert pas pour ce qu'on souhaite faire. C'est un quirk de ce type de thermostat là.

    @VE2JN

    J'ai du 24v pas de probleme avec l'affiichage dans Hilo, il affiche en C sur le Thermostat et dans Hilo oui de mémoire sur le thermostat j'ai sélectionné C

    @ColtHub

    I ran into the same wall on a Honeywell T10 (also a 24 V / LowVoltageThermostat) and I think I can explain why the Hilo app can change the setpoint but Home Assistant cannot.

    Dumping what the device advertises gives:

    supported_attributes = ['CoolTemperatureSet', 'CurrentState', 'CurrentTemperature',
        'Disconnected', 'DrmsState', 'FanMode', 'FanSpeed', 'GdState',
        'HeatCoolSetpointMinDelta', 'HeatDemand', 'Heating', 'Humidity', 'MaxCoolSetpoint',
        'MaxTempSetpoint', 'MaxTempSetpointLimit', 'MinCoolSetpoint', 'MinTempSetpoint',
        'MinTempSetpointLimit', 'Power', 'TargetTemperature', 'Thermostat24VAllowedFanMode',
        'Thermostat24VAllowedMode', 'Thermostat24VMode', 'Version', 'ZigbeeVersion']

    settable_attributes = ['Disconnected']

    TargetTemperature is advertised as supported but not as settable. Since
    HiloDevice._set_attribute() only sends the request when the attribute is in
    settable_attributes, every temperature command on these thermostats is dropped before it
    reaches the API — which matches the Invalid attribute DeviceAttribute(hilo_attribute='TargetTemperature', ...) for device warning reported here.

    So this does not look like a unit conversion issue (Celsius vs °C): the request never
    leaves the library.

    Environment: HA Core 2026.7.4, hilo 2026.8.1, python-hilo 2026.3.5.

    Two things I have not been able to determine on my own, and where a maintainer's view would help:

    1. Whether Hilo genuinely returns an almost empty settableAttributes for 24 V thermostats, or whether the field is simply not requested in the GraphQL query used for LowVoltageThermostat.
    2. Whether writing these attributes goes through a different mutation in the app.

    I have the hardware and I am happy to run any diagnostic that would help. I opened #998 about the read side of the same device class, where mode / fan mode / humidity are received but never surfaced.
