Introduce .NET 10 create/build/run tutorials for iOS, AppKit macOS, tvOS, and UIKit Mac Catalyst. Share prerequisites, SDK selection, and simulator setup while keeping native platform commands, expected template results, and MAUI support boundaries explicit. Connect the tutorials to the existing Apple documentation hub and TOC, update the breadcrumb and shared discovery metadata, and link current migration, signing, deployment, and platform-specific API guidance without changing existing public paths. Preserve the initial static, rule-assisted per-file triage for 591 archived Apple/shared/tooling documents, plus 35 maintained SDK guides and 884 explicitly out-of-scope archived files. Pin the source revision, retain hashes and sample mappings, and sort the queue so documentation-only work precedes external sample, hardware, native-library, and service gates. Keep contributor planning outside the published docs tree and document that Drop preserves the archive, proposed destinations need technical validation, and historical sample mappings are not live port-completion signals. Coordinate sample dependencies with the existing dotnet/macios#20212 effort instead of creating a second sample queue. Co-authored-by: Copilot App <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>
Remove the contributor planning README, static porting plan, CSV inventories, and inventory summary from the repository as requested. Keep the four native Apple platform tutorials and their navigation and discovery changes unchanged; planning remains available in the session artifacts. Add .NET 10 create/build/run tutorials for native iOS, AppKit macOS, tvOS, and UIKit Mac Catalyst apps. Each tutorial explains the native SDK versus .NET MAUI distinction, installs the appropriate workload, creates the default template app, and documents the platform-specific runtime identifiers and expected result.
Share prerequisites, SDK selection, and simulator setup across the tutorials. Link the new entry points from the existing Apple documentation hub and TOC, update the breadcrumb and discovery metadata to cover all four platforms, and preserve existing public URLs. Include links to current migration, signing, deployment, Xcode synchronization, and platform-specific API documentation.
The documented template creation and arm64 build commands succeeded for iOS simulator, AppKit, and Mac Catalyst. AppKit and Mac Catalyst also built and launched on the Intel host using their x64 runtime identifiers. YAML/frontmatter/JSON, relative links and includes, and external tutorial links were checked. iOS/tvOS simulator launches, a tvOS build, signing/distribution, and the full Learn publishing render remain unverified.
