Problem or motivation

When on a terminal tab, I can highlight text from the terminal, but trying to copy it (e.g. Ctrl+Shift+C) doesn't do anything.

Proposed solution

Let the terminal handle specific common key combinations for copying text.

Alternatives considered

Add a context menu on right-click with a "copy" action, because there's currently no way of copying anything.

Area

Desktop app

Can you provide more details about what operating system and the computing environment that you're working on? I am able to copy selected text from the terminal without any problems ( cmd + c on MacOS ).

Hi, I'm on Arch Linux using Wayland. I can copy text from the desktop app just fine, only the terminal does not work. Do tell me if more debug information are needed.

I need to take a further look into this but I am not having any issues copying from the terminal on MacOS. If there's other linux users facing the same issue, I'd like to know!
