WPAD_SetDataFormat(WPAD_CHAN_ALL, WPAD_FMT_BTNS_ACC_IR) stops all input from any expansions #274

im trying to write a program thatll use both nunchuk and ir pointer input

nunchuk input works on its own with WPAD_Data(WPAD_CHAN_0)->exp.nunchuk
but when i run WPAD_SetDataFormat(WPAD_CHAN_ALL, WPAD_FMT_BTNS_ACC_IR) so that i can read ir too, all i get from the nunchuk are 0's

the strangest thing is that ive looked at other projects and none seem to have this problem. i made sure to initialize wpad and set vres so im not sure what the problem could be here. can anybody help me?
