    • Make sure that users don't click the template lines before the « use this template » step:
    • Update the template screenshots
    • Update the template metadata
    • Provide instructions to go in Settings tab, then Pages tab and select Source --> GitHub Actions; update tip callout Branches?
    • Indicate that we need to wait until action Main Workflows under Actions tab is done (green instead of yellow wheel spinning) to check that the paper has been rendered at the URL <username.github.io/reponame>;
    • Update section 2.4.2: the README should not be generated manually as it is automatically handled; if the user really wants his/her own README file, (s)he should create a separate file with a different name;
    • Document that we should work from now on in the folder where the source code has been cloned;
    • renv::init() now ask before the four option if we are ok to use {renv}; we should document to say "y";
    • move the paragraph on using multiple languages to the FAQ

    why should we move « use this template » step before the template links?

    Because if you show the template links first, one will be tempted to click on the one (s)he needs which leaves the current page before (s)he can read that (s)he needs to click on "Use as template".

    indeed! so we decided to leave the images of the templates, but without a link.
