   That's how FF renders your font-family: Monospace. It seems that Chrome is using some variation of Consolas while Firefox uses old good Courier New as a monospace font. That's not against the specification, you know.

   If you really want the consistent font substitution, you may want to use font-family: Consolas, monospace or something alike.
