Enhance Lesson 5 with Fetch API and Interactive Example #489
Enhance the existing Lesson 5 tutorial by incorporating modern HTTP request methods using the Fetch API. The update will include an explanation of Fetch, a practical example, and an interactive exercise that fetches GitHub user data. PR Link: #488
Yes, we definitely want to do that. We're looking at the tutorials at present to revamp them. This has currently slowed down to a crawl due to me moving house (and country). Have a look at the discussion on the subject.
I won't merge your PR at present but I'll have a look as soon as I have a bit of time.
Hello Bruno, Thank you for sharing the link to the future plans—it’s great to see the direction we’re heading in. I completely agree.
Given the upcoming virtual lesson on the 13th March, I noticed some students wanting to join were facing challenges with this, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to address this beforehand. I appreciate you taking the time to review the PR when you can.
