Description

@konami99

Currently, this library uses jQuery UI widget 1.12.1, which is 4 years old and contains some vulnerabilities. Is there any plan to upgrade it to a newer version?

    Hi @konami99,
    If you look at the notes in this SDK, you can see we recommend switching to @cloudinary/url-gen for a few reasons: Note about Legacy SDKs.

    While these SDKs still work, we recommend using the new `@cloudinary/url-gen` package instead.

    Best regards,
    -Tamara

    We currently use the Ruby on Rails SDK, and this SDK relies on cloudinary_js. We are already on the latest version. In this case, what would you recommend doing?

    Hi @felipeequaresma. Thanks for flagging this. The dev team is looking into the jQuery UI dependency in cloudinary_js, and we’ll follow up here once we have more information to share.

    Hi @felipeequaresma. We’ve released Cloudinary Ruby SDK v2.4.4, which includes updated JS dependencies.
    Please upgrade to v2.4.4 and let us know if that resolves the issue on your side.
