The build uses
org.revapi:gradle-revapi1.8.0, a fork of Palantir's plugin whose last release isfrom 2024; its Gradle 9 PR (revapi/gradle-revapi#18) was closed when Palantir released
com.palantir.revapi2.0.0 with Gradle 9 support and folded the fork's fixes back in(palantir/gradle-revapi#727). The DSL, the task names and
.palantir/revapi.ymlare the same, soonly the coordinates and the plugin id change. Part of #14094.
Test plan:
./gradlew revapion Gradle 8.14.6 and JDK 21 analyzes all six modules and passes;removing
Expressions.truncate(String, int)makes:iceberg-api:revapifail withjava.method.removedand the deprecation-rules message, so breaks are still reported.
