ML / AI engineer with a Berkeley MEng (Robotics Control & Autonomous Systems) who takes systems all the way to production.
- Time-Series Demand Forecasting for Smart Retail — UC Berkeley MEng capstone comparing Transformer architectures and gradient boosting for retail demand forecasting on the M5 Walmart dataset; the Encoder-Decoder Transformer reached the best MAE, an 11% improvement over the linear baseline. Demo
- CS2 Inventory Manager — Quantitative trading and monitoring system for CS2 skins: inventory sync, real-time pricing, P&L analysis and quant signals. FastAPI + SQLite, deployed with systemd and Nginx, with watchdog auto-restart and hot backups.
- Follow-Me Drone — Autonomous follow-me selfie drone for the DJI Tello: real-time face tracking with PID control, plus hands-free IMU snap gestures for photos and panoramic video. Based on a UC Berkeley EECS 206A team project.
- WebDepth Search Engine — Full-stack search engine in Java: multithreaded web crawler, in-memory inverted index with TF-based ranking, and an embedded Jetty server with a custom search UI, built on a custom thread pool and read/write lock. Demo
- Facial Keypoints Detection — PyTorch ResNet and Keras CNN for the Kaggle competition; a custom NaN-aware loss trains on partially labeled samples instead of discarding them, reaching RMSE 2.10 on the leaderboard.
