   Thanks for the suggestion. This ships in ZenNotes 2.80.0: pick a folder of your vault under Settings → Templates → Template folder, or choose Use as Template Folder from a folder's menu in the sidebar. Every note in it becomes a template in the picker (Space t), named after its file, with its frontmatter copied into new notes. Its checkboxes stay out of Tasks and its notes out of search. A self-hosted server keeps the setting from server 2.80.
