debug-armory DR-08: lab-run brief for the Armory waves
Adds the lab-driver run brief for DR-L1..DR-L10 on a LOCAL server (D-DR7), under docs/analysis/debug-armory/briefs/, and updates the packet table call budgets.
The run is split into four parts (A 34, B 24, C 36, D 45 calls, about 139 total) so each part stays under the 56-call stop.
It front-loads the lab gotchas from the shops campaign: server DB_URL, absolute specs_dir, existing character names, camera 25 degrees off-axis before a vendor click, Sell tab route (drag-drop snaps back), client_batch limits, lost early chat lines.
Review: pass 1 and 2 fix, pass 3 fix then architect ruling (R1-R13) applied; the ruling check found one label (L1-4.4 "2 calls" to "4 calls"), fixed with the owner's go-ahead and not re-reviewed.
Tested vs not tested
Docs only; no code or specs changed. The brief has never been run: DR-L1..L10 follow, ask-first. Selling back at price 0 is unproven in the live client.
Docs
Doc-update-map rows: docs/analysis/debug-armory/ (campaign briefs and packet table). Status docs change once per campaign.
Apply review 1 notes N1-N5 to the DR-L1 driver brief and verifier brief:
scroll-aware vendor buy rows, the sell path from the shops SS-D1 rerun,
a three-attempt call budget, chat-loss guard, and the verifier row count.
Update the DR-L1 call figure in the work packet table.

Specifies vendor inspection, purchase, equipment, combat, sale, report, and lease-release steps.
Evidence grading and result reporting docs/analysis/debug-armory/verify/DR-L1.md
Defines verifier setup, grading criteria for six rows, and result-file requirements and restrictions.

Merge Risk: Low · up to d851e
This documentation-only change adds lab-run briefs that have not yet been executed. The resume probe should also request the equipped containers, so a retried attempt does not buy duplicates or skip a partial sale. The verifier brief should be made self-consistent on evidence sources, PASS versus NEEDS_HUMAN grading, and the result-table format. These are small edits to documents that no production code uses.

Explanation
The title "Debug armory DR-08: lab-run brief" matches the main change: a new lab-driver run brief (DR-L1..DR-L10) under docs/analysis/debug-armory/briefs/ plus updated packet call budgets. It is specific and short. It does not mention the verifier brief or the work-packets table update, which are secondary, so it is not a complete summary, but it is clearly related to the primary change.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description has a clear summary of the change and the four-part call split. It lists the lab gotchas covered and the review history. The Test plan section says the change is docs only and that the brief has never been run. It does not follow the repository template. It has no 'What changed and why' paragraph with protocol or Ghidra citations, which is not needed for a docs-only change. It has no test type picker and no checkbox answers. The pre-PR checklist is not mentioned. The Doc updates section names the doc-update-map rows touched, but it does not confirm that the docs/readme.md index is in sync. The Client impact section is missing. The Related issue section is missing and no issue is linked.
Resolution
Add the template sections that are missing or unanswered: (1) Client impact: state 'Free' or 'needs a client patch' with a reason, since this is docs only. (2) Related issue: write 'closes #NNN' or 'none' with a reason. (3) Test plan: mark the test type from TESTING.md or state that no runtime behaviour changes. Confirm that the pre-PR checks in docs/agents/pre-pr-checks.md were run, or say why they were not. (4) Doc updates: confirm that docs/readme.md and any section README.md indexes are in sync, or state that no new doc was added. The current text covers the rest of the template reasonably well.

**S2 - resume probe (2 calls). Run S2 only when ATTEMPT is 3 or 4.** `client_batch {"lease_id":L,"stop_on_error":false,"steps":[{"op":"lua","id":"cash","chunk":"return getCash()"},{"op":"lua","id":"utc","chunk":"if os and os.date then return os.date('!%H:%M:%S') end return 'no-os'"},{"op":"player_state","fields":["world_id","position"]}]}`, then `client_inventory {"lease_id":L,"containers":["Main"],"fields":["cash","containers"],"snapshot":"dl1a"}` as a second call (`client_batch` has no inventory op). Record cash and every item in Main (name, slot). A successor decides what is done:
- L1-3 is done when both SI 3 9mm Pistol and Aramid Fiber Ballistic Helmet are in Main or equipped. Then do not buy again.
- L1-4 is done when `client_inventory` shows both on the character (the equipped slot, not Main).
- L1-6 is done when neither is in Main or equipped.

Include equipped containers in the resume probe.
The probe requests only Main, but the next rules inspect both Main and equipped slots. After a retry where L1-4 already equipped the items, S2 cannot see them and may buy duplicates. If one item remains equipped after a partial L1-6, S2 may incorrectly skip the remaining sale.
Request the equipped containers used by the later inventory check.

Correct the L1-1.1 call count.
DIALOG and CHATX are separate client_batch macros. When the fixed macros are used verbatim, this step consumes two tool calls, not one. Update the step count and review the Part A budget.

1. **Grade only on server evidence**: a vendor log row (`target "vendor"`, events `store_opened`, `transaction`, `refused`), a read-only database query, or a packet-tap row. A clause seen only in a screenshot, the client UI or the driver's words is PARTIAL or NEEDS_HUMAN (contract § C5).
2. **The server is local, so there are no SigNoz rows.** SigNoz holds nothing for a local server: every clause that needs SigNoz is **UNVERIFIED** (write that word, not FAIL). The local evidence sources are `server_log_tail`, `server_db_query` (read-only SQL) and the packet tap of the lab-server MCP, plus the server's own log file.

Include server_entity_query in the allowed local evidence list.
Rule 2 lists server_log_tail, server_db_query, packet-tap rows, and the server log, but it omits server_entity_query. L1-1 requires that query for a PASS. The verifier cannot follow both rules. Add the read-only query to Rule 2, or change the L1-1 PASS criterion.
Based on the shared UAT contract cited in line 4 and the L1-1 rule in line 28.

- Server clause: seven Armory vendors exist in the world. Query `server_entity_query` (lab-server MCP) for entities named "Armory 0" to "Armory 6" in world 1300, or `server_db_query` `SELECT spawn_id, template_id FROM spawnlist WHERE spawn_id BETWEEN 14110 AND 14116` (confirms the seed). PASS needs seven live entities from `server_entity_query`; seven spawn rows only is PARTIAL ("seed present, entities not read").
- Human clause (looker): "A line of vendors east of the plaza vendors, none inside a wall." Looker answer yes -> record `looker yes`; the clause stays NEEDS_HUMAN until a person confirms. The row is PASS when the server clause is PASS and the looker said yes, with NEEDS_HUMAN written beside the human clause.

Grade a row NEEDS_HUMAN while its human clause is open.
Line 29 grades the row PASS when the server clause passes and the looker answers yes. The human clause still reads NEEDS_HUMAN. In this repository, PASS means every clause held, and the single Grade cell cannot show an open clause beside a PASS. A row can therefore read as fully passed before a person confirms the look.
Grade the row NEEDS_HUMAN until a person confirms the human clause. Line 53 already grades the L1-4 screenshot clause NEEDS_HUMAN, so line 29 should use the same rule.

Write `docs/analysis/debug-armory/results/DR-L1.md` in CRLF, following contract § C6 with the contract § C8 `## Runs` table first (this packet is a driver brief, not a spec run, so the table has one row: driver attempts, `run_dir` `n/a`, calls used).
§C8 defines a ## Runs table only for committed TOML spec runs. The debug-armory packet explicitly excludes DR-L1 from spec runs and uses a driver brief. Remove the run_dir: n/a## Runs table instruction and keep the single §C6 results table.
