Per-slot rotation and mirror in the camera settings #201

Closed

Description

@compot-dev

A general setting per slot: rotate 0/90/180/270° and mirror. It is useful for cameras mounted sideways (corridor view) or upside down (ceiling), and for toys.

Deferred: so far the only request is for one toy, and that is handled inside the toy's path (#200). Pick this up when a camera user asks for it. Notes:

    Note from #215: rotated MJPEG (?rotate=) is drawn through the bitmap path, because the single view's SurfaceView can't turn a hardware decoder's output. When rotation becomes a per-slot setting here, it should also work with hardware decoding (H.264/H.265 and hardware JPEG), e.g. through a GL or TextureView path for rotated slots only.

    Turn: PR #225 (ready for review). Mirror is split out to #226: the video surface cannot be mirrored without a separate drawing path.

    Turn is in v2 2.17 (PR #225): per-slot Auto/0°/90°/180°/270° in the camera settings, for H.264/H.265 (Android 6+) and MJPEG, in the single view and the grid, snapshots and screenshots included. Mirror continues in #226.
