Summary

  • decode Core cursor status busy through declaration-owned BusyCursorStatus
  • present Bus history: checking… with empty summary and no attention state
  • keep unavailable as the only cursor verification alert

Depends on OpenHCSDev/agent-comms#875.

Tests

  • 6 passed in tests/textual/test_cursor_request_results.py

Audit correction pushed at a8f6848: ReplacedOwnerCursorStatus declares the existing external spelling replaced through declared_name, with label Bus history: owner replaced, inherited empty summary and attention=False. Busy remains neutral. Full cursor-request test file: 7 passed. Committed-HEAD ratchet rc0. Core #875: 33d4a53f. Unavailable retained because Core still has 2 producers; no UnavailableCursorObservation references in Toad src.

Owner: agent-comms-ux; remaining: pair the neutral busy/replaced display with Core #875 and verify visible lock recovery without turning a transient busy read into an alert.

Refreshed against current main; not merged or installed. Source tracing exposed a hole in the original patch: known owner replacement was still rendered as an alert by ProjectionAttachment, regardless of the neutral status class. Its existing state now distinguishes known replacement from genuinely uncertain/lost evidence. ReplacedAttachment supplies the neutral cursor presentation; queue replacement still projects unavailable. Generation/revision/digest floors, quarantine, input capture and Send authority are untouched. Both state.project consumers migrated; no duplicate store or retry path. No positive ratchet deltas; canonical AST covered 282 modules with no parse omissions (dynamic resolution qualified). Core#875 has ten passing focused checks, including real flock/TCP recovery without input. No automated Toad tests or synthetic UI were run: the PR original six-check result is historical, not acceptance of this head. Actual paired installed lock recovery remains pending Codex integration/install; UX retains that check. Original BLOCKED goal and failed/UNKNOWN inputs were untouched.

Owner remains agent-comms-ux, retaining the existing implementation and installed lock-recovery context; Codex integrates the Core #875/Toad pair. Full diff read against current main e8716b9: still needed. Main lacks BusyCursorStatus/ReplacedOwnerCursorStatus and still folds known replacement into the unavailable alert. This branch deletes that competing unavailable classification and supplies neutral declared states. Core #875 is also still open. Not merged/installed; visible paired lock recovery remains pending. Original blocked goal is not resumed or reset by this ownership note.
