Summary

  • Services page: service definitions now pick a protocol, TR-069 (CWMP) or TR-369 (USP), and that protocol's trigger events. A definition can't mix both.
    • New TR-369 triggers: onboard (OnBoardRequest) and event.Boot!, set through usp_events.
    • New Manual Apply option: no trigger events, and it disables the protocol and event choices in the form.
    • New send_usp_message script function, with an example that sets and verifies the Wi-Fi SSID.
    • USP devices must be added by their agent endpoint ID; "In Practice" now covers devices reaching the USP Controller over MQTT or WebSocket.
    • event.Boot! needs a Device.LocalAgent.Subscription. for Device.Boot! on the device; OnBoardRequest needs none.
  • Scripts page:
    • send_usp_message also supports Add, Delete and Operate, not only Get and Set.
    • New listen_to_usp_event listener function, with the same Boot! subscription note.

Why WIP

The features it documents are on homolog, not released yet:

  • MQTT/WS MTPs and frontend: OktopUSP/enterprise-oktopus homolog
  • Zero-touch provisioning USP triggers and send_usp_message: OktopUSP/zero-touch-provisioning homolog
  • send_usp_message fixes and listen_to_usp_event: OktopUSP/lua-scripting homolog
