I tested the base option for this but it works with a screen lock. Other auth modules are not available by default in this screen lock so it's very confusing for users. The nice thing about the OCA module is that it completely kills the session based on inactivity. In Odoo's module it's either inactivity with screenlock or session kill based on time. Should we migrate it?

@CasVissers-360ERP there are 2 settings can be turned on,

@CasVissers-360ERP oh yeah I got your point, the inactivity timeout always prompt for the screen lock even if we refresh instead of redirecting to login page. The session feature is forcing re-authentication regardless of activity or not
