Reference table: fixed PHP package versions per distro, each row linked to the vendor advisory (does a link fit?) #23
Your README says to update to PHP 8.5.12 / 8.4.27 / 8.3.36 / 8.2.35 "or apply vendor-provided backported packages". I maintain a small independent reference that covers the second half of that sentence, and I would like to ask whether a link to it would fit this repository. I am not asking you to add anything to the software list, and I am happy to open a PR in whatever format you prefer.
What it contains (all from the vendors' own pages, checked 2026-10-22; every row has its advisory URL, and every row with a fixed version also quotes the vendor's text):
As of 2026-10-22: 140 package records across 15 ecosystems (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL and rebuilds, Alpine, Amazon Linux, Docker images and others). 101 have a vendor-published fixed version, for example Ubuntu 24.04 php8.3 fixed in 8.3.6-0ubuntu0.24.04.13 (USN-8948-1). The others are marked end-of-life, no fix yet, or unconfirmed. Nothing is inferred; if a version could not be read verbatim on the vendor page, the row says so.
A table of 70 hosting providers, control panels and CDNs, each with a link to the provider's own page and the time it was checked (66 also quote the provider's text).
Scope and limits:
It is not a scanner and makes no network request. A visitor pastes a PHP version, a package version or a Docker tag and the page compares it in the browser against the table above. The data is bundled into the page.
It only covers distribution and hosting status. It does not list affected products, mitigations or detection material, and it contains no exploit details.
It does not say anything is "safe". It only says whether a string is at or above the version the vendor published.
