Skeleton, no details, no reproducer just an email from Jeff about a bug

floating point error (reported as illegal instruction on M mac)
module: xyz location module (possibly also in the cartesian location module)?
line: unknown, not reported
compiler: gfortran, version unknown.

notes: different versions of lldb reported to give different backtraces, one version: lldb-1700.0.9.502, other version unknown.

model: mpas (some version of the refactored code not currently pushed to GitHub),
but would affect any model using the xyz (subset) module or possibly any model using the cartesian location_mod

unclear if it is a similar problem to #1096
