Exclude empty directories left behind by the old source layout, and audit archives for them. Also make the source metadata check tolerate CRLF and define text checkout rules.
This resolves the expansion CI dependency hash mismatch. The previous local and hosted development jars had identical payloads, with one extra empty directory locally. The repaired local jar matches the hosted hash, and the ordinary gameplay jar remains byte-for-byte unchanged. Release, dependency, artifact and Eclipse checks pass. No gameplay changes or release publication.
