I had a similar experience today. Pod got knocked off and was lost. Was out and it took me 20 minutes to get back to my pod stash at work. Attempted to deactivate pod. Waited 5 minutes but it kept trying to find the lost pod without timing out. Tried deactivating several times. Could not get it to present the discard option. Toggled Bluetooth, restarted phone, deleted app and reinstalled previous version from TestFlight. It still remembered the old pod and wouldn’t give me the discard option. Deleted app again and restarted phone before reinstalling from TestFlight. This finally worked, but I had to re-enter all loop settings and pair a new CGM. I’ll capture a report if it happens again.

Sorry you did not see this message.

    • With version 3.14.8 and 3.14.9, it takes at least 4 minutes to reach the Discard screen if the pod cannot be reached
      • NOTE - the 4 minute estimate was measured with a simulator, it might take longer with a real pod
      • Users just need to wait
      • If they try to quit/restart or cycle bluetooth or reboot the phone, it just restarts the 4 minute (or more) delay
    • Once the app gives up, it works the way it always has

This is fixed in dev and will be released as v3.14.11 in main very soon.
