[BUG] Copying selected text from chat does not update clipboard on Windows #15449

Description
Copying selected text from Kilo Code's conversation panel no longer works. The clipboard retains its previous contents.
The issue started approximately one week ago. Copying code snippets using their dedicated Copy buttons still works correctly.
Environment
OS: Windows 11
VS Code: 1.143.1
Kilo Code: 7.8.17
Steps to reproduce
Open a conversation in Kilo Code.
Select part of an assistant response.
Press Ctrl+C, or right-click and select Copy.
Paste into Notepad.
Expected behavior: The selected text should be copied to the clipboard.
Actual behavior: The clipboard retains its previous contents.
Additional observations
Copy buttons on code snippets work correctly.
Developer: Open Webview Developer Tools shows no errors when copying.
Reloading the VS Code window does not resolve the issue.

Confirming as well — Windows 11 Pro (25H2, build 26200), VS Code 1.143.0, Kilo Code 7.8.17. Identical symptoms: selection-copy via Ctrl+C / right-click → Copy leaves the previous clipboard contents, focus jumps to the prompt input on the keypress, Reload Window doesn't help, code-block Copy buttons still work.
