Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I made a chrome extension that tracks which streamers from Kick and Twitch are currently live and notifies the user when they go live.
I'm currently web scraping from a reverse-engineered endpoint and checking for every streamer from the list that the user has entered (with redis caching so I don't make unnecessary requests).
I would like to move to the public Kick API for a better user experience and to reduce the number of API requests my server makes to Kick.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would highly appreciate it if there was an endpoint similar to the one that Twitch has that returns the list of streamers that the logged-in user has followed.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I could use the channels endpoint, but from what I can tell, there is currently no way to check for a broadcaster_user_id or query with the username of the streamer. Additionally, this solution wouldn't make user experience better or lower the number of requests being sent from my server.

This would be a very useful endpoint. Along with it, it'd also be great to get channels that user is subscribed to, not only follow. Maybe another issue can be created for it?
I would concur - I also need this endpoint for my project. I can see that v2/channels/followed exists on the kick.com domain (visible in the browser console) so locked to your internal systems.
Since this endpoint already exists internally, it shouldn't be difficult to expose it through the official API. The response format would be sufficient as-is:
Adding another use case. We're building a desktop app for viewers and would adopt this on day one. Right now users have to re-add every Kick channel by hand, then we poll /public/v1/users/livestreams for live status. A user:follows:read scope with a paginated follow list (plus a live-only variant, like Twitch's /helix/streams/followed) would replace all of that. Is there a rough timeline or a current position on the roadmap?
