feat(kernel): enforce phase exit analysis and inventory coverage - #37
Add the bounded LS0002 warning and shared name matcher across production C#, with unconditional wiring, suppression-aware corpus checks and unchanged LS0001 scope.
Reconcile the durable asynchronous inventory with all five compiled migration chains and independent PostgreSQL relation discovery. Unsupported SQL constructs fail closed.
Prove actual audit-capture cleanup/scoping and correct privacy, privilege, ownership and exit-evidence claims.
Repair test-only durability, native hint and browser-artifact witnesses found during qualification, preserving production behavior, deadlines and cleanup failures.
Approach
The approved G16/G18 carriers precede implementation. ADR-0032 Amendments 6–7 own the diagnostic boundary; Architecture 23 owns the copy inventory. All four steps and each correction bundle complete two fresh independent automated source-review rounds. Dated correction records distinguish source review, executed counterexamples and qualification limits.
Validation
Local Release validation: 2,692 Unit cases; final census/Corpus 81/81; PostgreSQL controls 7/7; capture/delivery/all-mode controls 40/40, zero skips. Capture-clear and singleton mutations fail their intended controls and are restored.
Native completion controls pass 3/3; a wrong-generation counterexample fails, and rebuilt committed lock cases pass 2/2. The 100-second deadline, 31-second hold and durable business/MUST-audit assertions remain intact.
Actual HTTPS browser positive/history-counter case passes; fixture/support controls pass 37/37. A real pinned-SDK removal-refusal counterexample proves CDP artifacts must remain within the existing cleanup owner.
Plan/result controls pass 72/72 and 30/30. Documentation and commit-hook format, build, lint and secret checks pass.
Qualified A/B source: 7a2ef1d364a55b7438d17e44a02a5309d433d24d, tree 53ffc9e6a4563248d177c13a661fbf8b858d0690. The later closeout head b1f19f5b32fd9cb11fc8abc427817dbe72878068, tree 9eb11ced9d70f66dc84ad629f409801f1aeebbcf, changes only three documentation files.
Complete A/1 and B/2 qualification passed in run 40182091476: 27/27 jobs and all seven required contexts per attempt; 6,122 identical Passed .NET case IDs, zero skips; 2,376 frontend cases; 20 natural producer cleanups; 25 authenticated archive digests and 957 member files per attempt; nine public pages/27 report pairs. Source, plan, toolchain and genuine layout differences are independently verified. Earlier failed attempts remain failures; exact historical retry/residue causes are not inferred from counterexamples.
The final documentation-head assignment passed in run 40185549406: 27/27 jobs, the same 6,122 Passed case IDs with zero skips, 2,376 frontend passes, all 25 archive digests/member bytes and natural cleanup verified. Head b1f19f5b and tested merge 457de7ee share tree 9eb11ced9d70f66dc84ad629f409801f1aeebbcf. An independent current-head readback approves technical readiness; A/B evidence is not reused as this head's result.
Historical 5,992-case receipts belong to earlier source; they do not qualify this correction's changed case population.
Risk and release gates
LS0002 remains Warning until Phase 03 exit. It is name-based and C#-only, retains the approved generated-code exclusion, and proves no data-flow secrecy. Matcher expansion and non-thrown/factory coverage are outside this approved change.
The structural inventory proves neither field erasure nor legal compliance. No migration, storage grant, retention, credential, endpoint or admission-policy change is introduced. Existing immutable facts and uncertain reservations remain protected.
All seven exact required checks now pass on the current head and all three verified review threads are resolved. Protection stays strict and unchanged. Maintainer review and merge remain separate release gates. Artifacts have finite seven-day retention; automated source-review transcripts are not a permanent committed archive.
Describe only the process fields read by closed diagnostics. Compile-check
real ChildProcess values and the operation callback in existing native
child controls, while retaining unknown-field sanitization coverage.
ADR: 0056, 0064
Record complete source-bound backend receipts and the isolated demo
refusal, with closed-diagnostic corrections and both fresh review rounds.
Keep final-source hosted qualification explicit and mandatory.
ADR: 0064, 0065
Scan counter and header literals across all production assemblies.
Inspect source-owned middleware and OpenAPI helper leaves before treating
framework calls as terminals; plant real-wrapper and alias mutations.
Record first-round findings, completed controls and exemplar correlation
cost without claiming current-head hosted qualification.
ADR: 0064, 0065
Trace builder-valued receivers conservatively before skipping ordinary
calls. Actual Program and resolver return mutations must expose chained
extra authentication with a specific diagnostic; endpoint naming remains
clean. Record round-two findings and the separate schema-proof limit.
ADR: 0064
Separate sticky cleanup failure from ordinary quota and capacity pressure.
Specify one-disposal acquisition ordering, shared retirement ownership and
unbounded disposal latency without claiming dependent runtime delivery.
Mark mutable cap carriers as current code under a Proposed decision and
name exact HTTP, metric, cleanup and concurrency proof obligations.
ADR: 0066
Record the first independent review round and explicitly include capacity
retry-hint semantics in the future served and snapshot OpenAPI changes.
Keep ADR-0066 Proposed and implementation proofs pending approval.
ADR: 0066
Record both fresh independent review rounds, the verified retry-contract
inventory fix and current documentation/corpus validation. ADR-0066 stays
Proposed and dependent runtime work still requires maintainer approval.
ADR: 0066
Record maintainer approval before dependent runtime changes. Preserve the
Accepted ADR-0064/0065 bodies with adjacent attribution errata and their

Runtime, resource-bound and exported-signal proofs remain pending delivery.
ADR: 0064, 0065, 0066
Keep reclamation and failed resources under one singleton owner before
allocation or debit, preserving existing quotas while exposing distinct
capacity and cleanup-fault outcomes. Exercise the approved races, DI shutdown
and exported signals with matching served and generated contracts.
ADR: 0064, 0065, 0066
Apply the shared response policy even when a classified API path has no
endpoint. Make missing-header assertions fail and bind the retirement timer
to its accepted cadence so regression controls cannot pass silently.
ADR: 0064, 0065, 0066
Record both fresh implementation review rounds and the verified header-proof
corrections while keeping complete local and final-source hosted evidence
under their own source identities.
ADR: 0064, 0065, 0066
Close composition and cross-root capability gaps in the existing
authentication census. Preserve owned cleanup despite diagnostic faults,
pin real reader and contract guards, and distinguish delivered status
from historical acceptance receipts.
ADR: 0036, 0040, 0041, 0052, 0064, 0065, 0066
Extend the bounded filter census to effective provider composition and
implemented anonymous contracts. Real DI and compiled metadata controls
prevent unchanged filter options from hiding executable policy changes.
ADR: 0064
Close supported MVC composition channels that can change effective filters or
authorization without changing the global inventory or ordinary attributes.
Pair exact runtime inventories with compiled dirty and restored controls.
ADR: 0064
Record both independent rounds and targeted confirmation of the committed
composition-proof fixes before starting the demo and SDK correction step.
ADR: 0064, 0065, 0066
Keep local request refusal distinct from network failure and make demo
receipts describe the actual process outcome and observed source. Bind
both report files without relaxing browser budgets or cleanup ownership.
ADR: 0053, 0054, 0056, 0064
Publish output refusal before physical shutdown and keep the same first
daemon error for every observer. Classify native coordinator cancellation
from its owned signal without replacing known faults or cleanup failures.
ADR: 0056
Keep the first native failure authoritative when paused or inherited
output delays close, while successful capture and physical cleanup
still retain their existing completion bounds. Real-child controls
prove the failure ordering and preserve complete successful output.
ADR: 0056, 0064
A daemon's zero exit is still an unexpected failure. Observe it apart
from ordinary command success so delayed streams cannot replace the
first daemon outcome, while complete command output remains required.
ADR: 0056, 0064
Record verified fixes and independent follow-up closure while keeping
current-source hosted qualification separate from historical receipts,
local checks, production activation and maintainer merge approval.
ADR: 0056, 0064, 0065, 0066
A censored assignment colocated expensive serial controls and exhausted
its existing deadline. Refresh only completed hosted selector costs,

Record both independent provenance and contract review rounds while
requiring fresh complete A/B evidence for the revised timing plan.
Clarify the existing distinction from ordinary future pushes without
changing any execution or qualification policy.
ADR: 0063, 0064
Require non-null source and run identities for hosted TRX timing records.
Keep historical local and console source shapes intact. Plant all three
missing-identity combinations against the actual plan validator.
ADR: 0063
Record both independent review rounds and keep historical plan qualification
separate from the final-source full assignment required after the guard fix.
ADR: 0063
Record identical final-source and squash-merge trees with their exact
qualification receipts. Reconcile live status pointers while preserving
dated delivery history and leaving realm, BFF and phase exit work pending.
ADR: 0063, 0064, 0065, 0066
Define bounded development reconciliation and real identity proofs before
closing the remaining realm and issuance-lifetime gates. Preserve account
and secret ownership, separate provider timestamp semantics from configured
lifespan, and retain explicit approval before implementation.
ADR: 0004, 0036, 0064
Record the maintainer's approval before changing identity issuance or
existing development accounts. Register real-provider proof obligations
and retain the independent session, authorization and production gates.
ADR: 0004, 0036, 0064
Keep new durable copies from silently bypassing the migration census through
SELECT INTO or fragmented dynamic SQL while preserving the pinned installer.
ADR: 0046, 0047, 0057, 0069
Refuse unsupported schema resolution and dynamic commands so conditional
names and qualified renames cannot masquerade as inventoried public tables.
ADR: 0046, 0047, 0057, 0069
Keep the plan, standards, workflow examples and source explanations aligned
with delivered authentication and asynchronous ownership without granting
new authority or disguising future permission and erasure prerequisites.
ADR: 0032, 0033, 0044, 0046, 0047, 0064, 0065, 0069, 0070, 0071
Join PR36's squash ancestry after verifying its tree equals the already
included source commit. Preserve the complete reviewed development tree so
the next PR contains only the new phase-exit work.
Make delivery reconciliation counts explicit and map every exit obligation
to its real owner before complete source-bound qualification. Preserve
existing audit composition and future tenant-status decision authority.
ADR: 0033, 0044, 0046, 0047, 0057, 0069
Keep source approval and the retained A evidence separate from the
pending B and current-head qualification so no partial proof implies
phase exit.
ADR: 0032, 0063, 0069
Preserve exact-source A and B evidence and the completed review trail
while keeping final PR-head checks and maintainer merge as separate
gates. Record the live protection and each future phase's actual owner.

Walkthrough
The pull request adds LS0002 for bounded sensitive-name checks in thrown exception messages and centralizes analyzer wiring. It adds architecture checks for asynchronous-store inventories and updates delivery audit tests. Documentation describes analyzer scope, data-protection boundaries, pipeline behavior, and phase ownership.
Changes: Exception analyzer and shared token matching
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Shared matcher and analyzer rules backend/src/LearnStack.SharedKernel/Secrets/*, backend/analyzers/LearnStack.Analyzers/*
A shared matcher supplies sensitive-name checks for runtime redaction and LS0002. LS0002 checks supported string expressions in directly thrown exceptions. LS0001 registration uses a compiler-visible scope property.
Production wiring and validation backend/src/Directory.Build.props, backend/Directory.Build.props, backend/src/**/*.csproj, backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Architecture/Analyzer*, backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Unit/Analyzers/*
Production projects inherit the analyzer from shared MSBuild configuration. Tests check evaluated wiring, rule scope, warning behavior, and diagnostic cases. Both rules remain warnings through Phase 03 exit.
Analyzer contracts and guidance docs/decisions/0032-*, docs/standards/*, docs/roadmap/phase-02b-*, .claude/skills/*, CLAUDE.md
Documentation records analyzer scope, limits, warning escalation, proof requirements, and project-wide suppression restrictions.
Asynchronous-store inventory
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Migration census and inventory validation backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Architecture/AsyncStoreInventory*, backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Integration/Database/SchemaTableClasses.cs, backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Integration/Database/StorageRelationCensusTests.cs, scripts/ci-test-shards-plan.json
Architecture tests parse migration operations and validate the documented inventory. Integration tests expand relation discovery to regular, partitioned, and materialized-view relations. The shard plan lists the shared fixture.
Inventory and erasure boundaries docs/architecture/23-data-protection.md, docs/architecture/31-audit-subsystem.md, docs/standards/05-database.md, docs/roadmap/phase-03-identity-admin.md, docs/roadmap/phase-11-production-hardening.md
Documentation describes durable copies and custody boundaries, limits of audit redaction, and phase-specific prerequisites for DSAR, retained-copy reconciliation, and purge work.
Pipeline, delivery, and platform contracts
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Pipeline and outbox contracts .claude/skills/*, backend/src/LearnStack.Api/Composition/CrossCuttingFoundationExtensions.cs, backend/src/LearnStack.Application/Pipeline/AuthorizationBehavior.cs, docs/architecture/33-cross-cutting-concerns.md
Guidance describes shared pipeline registration and seven behaviors plus the handler. The architecture text describes immediate outbox insertion and owner-side draining, and identifies authorization as a pass-through shell.
Delivery and database assertions backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Integration/Database/*, backend/tests/LearnStack.Tests.Unit/Infrastructure/Audit/*, docs/standards/21-architecture-tests-catalogue.md
Tests add delivery audit-capture clearing and indeterminate-row assertions, scoped capture checks, and nested-frame clear coverage.
Documentation updates phase status and ownership, gateway qualification, audit and administrator-scope boundaries, and repository guidance. Migration factory constants are renamed without changing their environment keys or validation behavior.
The phase plan overstates an existing classification check. Correct that documentation before merge or accept it as a bounded follow-up; the inspected test changes do not establish a separate blocker.

backend/src/Directory.Build.props now supplies the analyzer reference to every production C# project. It defaults LearnStackAnalyzeDomainExceptionThrow to false and enables it only for .Domain and .Application projects. The current entry instead describes references in each Domain/Application project, so that wiring description is stale.
Keep the Warning in Phase 02a and Phase 03 escalation wording. LS0002 has its own entry, so do not add it to this LS0001-specific severity sentence. Add a cross-link to the LS0002 entry.

- Around line 344-345: Update SqlTokens to recognize PostgreSQL E-prefixed
literals with backslash escapes as single literal tokens, while retaining the
existing handling for ordinary quoted literals. Ensure the set_config
search-path guard and RequirePinnedExecute still reject E-prefixed search-path
literals and preserve the existing fail-closed 'public' comparisons; add a
theory case asserting ReadSql throws FormatException for the described SQL.

- Around line 116-119: Update the “JSONB columns carry no PII metadata”
paragraph to remove the claim that Data Protection has a current CI check for
email or phone columns. Describe the Phase 03 classification census as planned
work, while preserving the point that column-level classification cannot inspect
tenant-authored keys inside custom_fields.

Distinguish body entry from committed job effects through a controlled rollback,
and keep escaped SQL literals from hiding durable storage declarations.
ADR: 0046, 0047, 0057, 0063, 0069
Bind both fresh second-round reviews and the independently rebuilt census to
an exact source while leaving complete hosted qualification pending.
ADR: 0047, 0063, 0069
Separate native completion proof from accepted bridge repair timing while
retaining the real ACK, due, generation and cleanup fences. Prove a locked
retry generation with durable business and audit outcomes and a wrong-
generation counterfactual, without changing production behavior or deadlines.
ADR: 0047, 0059, 0063, 0069
Bind both fresh second-round reviews and post-hook execution to the exact
committed test correction before complete hosted qualification.
ADR: 0047, 0063, 0069
Keep CDP artifacts beneath the existing private fixture root so SDK cleanup
failures cannot leave an unowned sibling behind a successful close. Preserve
joined shutdown and the parent empty-root guard; validate with the real
browser journey and an isolated SDK refusal counterexample.
ADR: 0063, 0069, 0070
Record both fresh source reviews and restore accurate module terminology and
ADR navigation before qualifying the final correction source.
ADR: 0032, 0047, 0063, 0069, 0070
Bind the complete corrected-source A/B proof and independent audits to exact
source, cases, artifacts and cleanup. Keep current documentation-head checks,
maintainer review and merge as separate gates.

Summary
Approach
The approved G16/G18 carriers precede implementation. ADR-0032 Amendments 6–7 own the diagnostic boundary; Architecture 23 owns the copy inventory. All four steps and each correction bundle complete two fresh independent automated source-review rounds. Dated correction records distinguish source review, executed counterexamples and qualification limits.

An independent current-head readback approves technical readiness; A/B evidence is not reused as this head's result.Risk and release gates
