Scope and version of CC BY-NC terms for three Qiskit teaching files #5
I am Elias Abebe Gasparini from the HAIR Laboratory at Yonsei University. We are revising the Parallel Quantum Instruction Dataset (PQID) manuscript for Scientific Data. PQID pairs source-derived Qiskit material with LLM-generated instructions and explanations.
Our recorded excerpts cover VQE ansatz/basis-change/energy helpers, a QSVM feature map and Bell-state preparation in these versions:
The week 3 and week 13 lecture sources identify Morten Hjorth-Jensen and carry a CC BY-NC notice. The full code of qsvmqiskit.py also appears in the week 13 notes. Could you identify the CC licence version and confirm whether that notice governs these standalone Python files and their explanatory comments, or whether separate code terms apply?
The proposed use is to reproduce, revise, adapt and publicly redistribute source code/comment excerpts within PQID for quantum-programming research, model training and evaluation. We will record the applicable restrictions before determining eligibility. Please also identify the required code-author/course attribution and any adapted tutorial or collaborator contributions with separate source/version notices.
