🐞 New tabs always open at the end #1704

Description

New tabs always open at the end of the tab list instead of opening just after the current focused tab

To Reproduce

1. Open a project in CodeEdit.
2. Double-click on at least 2 files to open them.
3. Click the tab you opened first to focus on it. It should be the left most tab.
4. Open a different file.

Expected Behavior

A new tab should be opened immediately after the tab that is currently focused.
