🐞 C++ "<<" attempts to autocomplete even after disabling completing quotations #1593

Closed

Description

Description

When writing C++ code, the operator "<<" is commonly used. However, when typing in "<<", it attempts to autocomplete it into "<>", probably due to HTML support.

To Reproduce

  1. Open a new C++ file
  2. Type "<<"
  3. Problem shown

Expected Behavior

There should be a setting that disables this, or a "per file" setting. Instead of keeping it throughout the text editor, only use that autocomplete if the file is an HTML, JSX, svelte, etc. file.

    The <> autocomplete has been removed in a recent pr on CodeEditSourceEditor here. It will be pushed up to the main app on the next release.
