Support for async decorators in AsyncHumanloop #43
Our team at @Iterate-AI, recently shifted from langsmith to humanloop. We mainly use async LLM clients for our code and so async functionality support is critical for our case.
The current class for Humanloop has useful decorators like flow, tool and prompt. Would love to have them for AsyncHumanloop class as well.
Starting with 0.8.40b6, we've added async decorators in the sync Humanloop client: @a_flow, @a_prompt and @a_tool.
We've implemented them on the sync client since we don't have full feature parity between the sync and async one. For example, the eval.run(...) utility is syncronous (but uses threads to parallelize network operations).
Expect the async decorators to make 1-2 blocking network calls on average, which will be addressed when we expand the async client. The approximate ETA for that is ~6 months.
