Overview

This PR integrates comprehensive Copilot CLI resources from the awesome-copilot repository, enabling structured AI-assisted development across the team.

What's Included

  • 194 Instructions – Language, framework, and domain-specific guidance
  • 8 Workflows – Pre-built automation templates for common development tasks
  • 222 Agents/Chatmodes – Specialized AI assistants optimized for different roles
  • 427 Skills – Reusable technical capabilities across frontend, backend, DevOps, testing

Total: 851 resources organized and indexed for easy discovery and use.

Organization & Documentation

Three key guides:

  1. .copilot/INDEX.md – Quick reference index
  2. COPILOT_RESOURCES.md – Comprehensive guide with usage patterns and best practices
  3. .copilot/SETUP_SUMMARY.md – Setup guide and learning path

Key Workflows Enabled

  • React Development: Instructions + specialized agents
  • Testing Strategy: Jest instructions + testing-specialist agent
  • Code Review: code-reviewer agent with relevant guidance
  • Performance Optimization: performance-optimizer agent + instructions
  • Security Audits: security-auditor agent + security instructions
  • DevOps/Infrastructure: Infrastructure instructions + relevant agents

How to Use

  1. Start with .copilot/INDEX.md for quick reference
  2. Reference specific instructions for coding guidance
  3. Use specialized agents in Copilot Chat
  4. Combine instructions + agents + skills for complete solutions
  5. Adapt workflows for team-specific processes

Expected Benefits

  • Code quality improvements through guided practices
  • Faster development with AI-assisted workflows
  • Increased test coverage with testing guidance
  • Proactive security reviews
  • Standardized practices across team

Implementation Notes

  • All resources copied as-is from awesome-copilot repository
  • No modifications made; preserves original intent and quality
  • No dependencies added; purely knowledge/reference resources
  • Can be updated independently by re-syncing from awesome-copilot

Comment thread .copilot/skills/convert-pdf-to-md/scripts/requirements.txt Fixed
- Removed .copilot/skills/winmd-api-search/ (LicenseRef-github-NOASSERTION violation)
- Removed .copilot/skills/convert-pdf-to-md/ (AGPL-3.0 license policy violation)

These are optional third-party utilities from awesome-copilot that are not
essential for this React-based project. Removing them resolves the license
compliance issues flagged by the policy check.
