100% stuck while trying to initialize #731

no kidding .. this is the ACTUAL log file .... sometimes I think our industry is going to shit ... and the more idi0ts are given 'fantastic tools' the stupider they become.
what I find simply amazing is that someone who is likely a professional developer would think that of writing a client/server type system without thinking that it would be possible (ok.. I really mean 100% likely) that the server might be stuck, blocking the client in the same breath... dunno if it is hubris ("I am so great, my code will never do that") or authentic lack of imagination (ok, I really mean "stup..."). either way ... Kudos, amazing, fantasticaly fabulously cool piece of great code. ;-)

May I ask whether you have put Copilot app into
/Applicationsfolder? It's supposed to run at /Applications.tgift commentedon May 2, 2026
I often install apps in different folders and ran into this as well. I think this is the first app I've run into that requires being in the official "Applications" directory. Anyway, moving it there fixed the problem. Nothing in the log file to indicate what the issue is, so that would be nice to correct.
