                <p class="mb-5">My dear Leos, I’d like to leave you with these words of advice. Be supportive, be genuine, be
                    hard working and give everything your best from the bottom of your heart and never expect anything in
                    return. It is my belief that we should be living with a pure heart by sharing with and caring about each
                    other, to look after our community. Therefore, do keep that in mind and provide your best contributions
                    to the movement and to the society in the upcoming years as well.</br>

            <h4 class="profile-intro text-center">Biography </h4>
                <p class="mb-5">Born in 1994, Mandakini is the eldest Child in the family of 4 children and the only daughter of Mr. &
                    Mrs. Kariyawasam. She started her education at Musaeus College, Colombo 07 where her personality
                    was well groomed under the guidance of her teachers and mentors and roots of a remarkable journey
                    were planted. Not limiting her endless capabilities to academics she excelled herself in extracurricular
                    activities as well. She was engaged in Athletics and Netball during her School tenure. She was also a
                    member of the dancing Troup in South Asian Games held in Colombo Sri Lanka 2006.</br>
                    After leaving her school education, Leo Mandakini initiated a conquering chapter in her life. She started
                    a new path as a LEO and she together with PDP Leo Lion Shathika Karunaratne was instrumental in
                    extending a new Leo Club back in 2014, well it is none other than the Leo Club of Battaramulla Synergy.
                    She was introduced to the movement by PDP Leo Lion Shathika Karunaratne and at the same year she
                    was appointed as the Charter President of Leo Club of Battaramulla Synergy and the President in the
                    following Leoistic year as well. She is a risk taker and a challenging personality who took up herself into a
                    greater height by accepting the challenges given to her in the charter year itself. She was indeed
                    successful and she conquered. She lead the infant Leo club to become the Best New Leo Club in Sri
                    Lanka back in 2014/15 which is once in a lifetime award for a Leo Club and she was awarded the most
                    outstanding New Leo of Sri Lanka another Once in a Life time award for a Leo. Seeing her potential in
                    the following year she was then appointed to the district council as an activity director for International
                    Relations.</br>
                    She was one young lady who never failed to fulfil the entrusted responsibilities towards her and has
                    always given her best. She has initiated some of the signature projects which were recognized in the Leo
                    Multiple District Level and Sath Piyum which became the Most Outstanding Continuous project in
                    2017/18 in Multiple District 306 is an ideal example for that. She also initiated projects such as “Nirogi
                    Piyasatahan” and “Ice Breaker” which became some of the signature projects in the District Level as
                    well.</br>
                    Leo Mandakini continued to showcase her brilliant competencies in every angle possible after getting
                    appointed to the District council for the past consecutive years. She has held the positions of</br>

                     Centennial District Asst. Treasurer (2016/17)</br>
                     DPPC International Relations (2017/18)</br>
                     District Secretary (2018/19)</br>
                     DPPC Club Performance & Evaluations District Contest (2019/20)</br>
                    Being a trailblazer and a dynamo, Leo Mandakini strived hard to deliver more, under the guidance of her
                    senior Leos and Lions in the Leo and Lions movement. Her capacity of fulfilling the responsibilities
                    assigned to her above the expectations lifted her up to the Multiple Level. She was first invited to the
                    Multiple District Council by the Past International Advisory Panelist PMDP Lion Rajitha Abeygunasekara 
                    and then again she was appointed to the Multiple District Council in the Leoistic years of 2017/18 &
                    2019/20</br>
                    She has been actively engaged in steering committees and event committees as well as chaired / cochaired in many district and multiple district activities</br>

                    Her Club level performance as a lady leader became even more exceptional. She held the position of
                    Club President for 2 consecutive years and also she became the club secretary in the year 2017/18. The
                    challenges never broke her down but she accepted all challenges and tasks given to her and became
                    successful by achieving each and every one of them. She took her club into a greater height in
                    administration and made her club into one of the best administered clubs in the District and in the
                    multiple level as well.</br>

                     Nirogi Piyasatahan Most Outstanding project for diabetes 1st runner up district level (2018/19)</br>
                     Sath Piyum Most outstanding Continuous Project 1st Runner up Leo Multiple District 306
                    (2017/18 & 2018/19)</br>
                    Due to her enthusiastic high-flier personality and the admirable service rendered to her club, District
                    and the Multiple District, Leo Mandakini had much more caliber to accomplish the most coveted title 
                    “Leo of the Year in 2018/19”.</br>

                    She is also a proud graduate from the first batch in the Leo graduation program held by MALLI program.
                    That enduring journey she began to walk in 2014 as a Synergy Leo was filled with everyday challenges
                    where she committed herself to defeat the challenges to conquer each moment which lead to
                    Leadership, Experience and Opportunity. Leo Mandakini, an inspiring leader, a pioneering hard worker, a
                    friendly team player, and above all truly a LEO is willing to deliver her caliber for the betterment of the
                    community, and for those in need sharing through our courage and dedication.
                    She is a Bachelor of Business and holds a Double Major in Management and International Business from
                    Edith Cowen University Australia. She is also holding an advanced diploma in French language (l’alliance
                    francaise) and an advanced diploma in management accounting (CIMA,UK)</br>
                    She worked as an intern in hemas holdings plc in the department of group sustainability and corporate
                    communication where she got the privilege to contribute her fair share in national level mass projects
                    such as AYATI and Piyawara. Currently she works as a Senior Operations Analyst at Synergen Health LLC.
                    Her father is a Businessman and a proprietor while her mother is a housewife. She has 3 younger
                    brothers schooled at D.S.Senanayake College Colombo 7 and 2 out of her 3 brothers are Leos of the Leo
                    club of Battaramulla Synergy and youngest brother is a Leo in D.S.Senanayake College. Her eldest sibling
                    is a final year student in university of moratuwa faculty of engineering, 2
                    nd brother is an army cadet
                    officer aligned to Sri Lanka Army and following up a bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management at
                    Kotalawala Defence University and her youngest brother will be sitting for his A/L examination in coming
                    September.</br>

                    Leoistic year 2021/22 Leo Mandakini Kariyawasam .
